基礎看護学実習における看護技術教育の方法論的考察 : 患者-学生の相互身体的な関わりを中心に

The main purpose of this study is to clarify the deepening process and the lessons of intersubjective relationship of nursing students at the first clinical practice as a step to study methods of nursing skill instruction. Study objects were 7 out of 67 first graders of a nursing university in Tokyo during their basic clinical practice (level I) at general and thoracic surgery ward from 14th to 25th February 2000. I analyzed especially 3 students who reported to have experienced "intersubjective relationship and understanding" with their patients through practicing nursing skills in the course of the clinical practice. The first practice of their nursing skills to the patients provides a good opportunity to understand each other. When students became acquainted with their patient, they realized that it was a care of the patients to accept the aids from the students for the first time. True communication between the patient and student can be established only when they understand each other and the relationship is deepened enough, and the student can experience "intersubjective understanding". Nursing skill practice with such "intersubjective understanding" between the patient and student seems not only to facilitate the learning of nursing skills but also to lead personality development of the student. The importance of the commitment on the spot by the teacher was suggested to establish the relationship between students and patients mentioned above.
