218 THE DYNAMIC EQUATION AND SIMULATION OF A LINKAGE MECHANISM FABRICATED FROM THREE-DIMENSIONAL BRAIDED COMPOSITE MATERIALS(General Session II)

The elastic linkage mechanism with links fabricated from three-dimensional braided composite materials was studied in this paper. The dynamic equation of the mechanism, which includes composite materials parameters and structural parameters of the mechanism, was established by the finite element method(FEM). Firstly, based on the 3-dimensional microstructure characters of the three-dimensional braided composite materials, the anisotropic girder element was considered to be made up of four parts. Stiffness matrix of the girder element was established by calculating strain potential energy according to the relations between the distribution of each part's strain and the girder element's node displacements. Secondly, based on the damping element model and the expression of dissipation energy of the 3-dimentional braided composite materials, the damping matrix of the mechanism was established by calculating each factorial mode damping of linkage mechanism. Finally, the dynamic responses of the mechanism were resolved by simulation calculation. The work of this paper is the base, on which the internal relations between the macro dynamic characteristics of the mechanism and the parameters, such as microstructure parameters of composite materials and the structural parameters of the mechanism, can be further studied.
