The basis of our method is a fast dimension reduction of 3D voxel process to obtain a meaningful hand gesture posture in 2D. A fast precomputing and meshless parameterization method are used for 3D voxel dimensional reduction. This method makes it possible to perform efficient and real-time hand gesture recognition. A look-up table is generated during precomputing process which reduces the processing time and memory space for 3D voxel reconstruction. Then, the meshless parameterization of one to one mapping is applied for dimension reduction, and it preserved the 3D features without loss of any generality.
