For the purpose of the vibrational assignments in the bands, which are concerned with the ^2B_2 state and observed in the blue region, Frank-Condon factors were investigated by means of approximated potentials of the distorted and displaced oscillators in the both upper and lower states. Since vibrational studies of the ^2B_2 state have been scarce and limited to the infrared, red, and green regions, it is difficult to give the reliable assignments to the observed bands associated with high vibrational levels. From the spectral appearance of the excitation spectrum depending on the monitored wavelength, therefore, it is strongly suportive that the intensity estimation from FCF is a useful and effective method for determing the unknown level, even if its potential is not accurate through high levels. The relative intensities obtained from FCF calculation in this work are compared with those of the bands identified in the excitation spectrum in the blue region. The calculated results in this work interpret the experimental ones very well.
