Formation of the central and stomatogastric nervous system in late stages is described. The frontal ganglion is originated from the thickening part of the stomodaeal wall. The neuropile of the lobe 1 in the protocerebrum differentiates into three parts, i.e. the medulla interna, medulla externa and lamina ganglionalis. In Stage 8, the cephalization completes, and the cerebral ganglia acquire the definitive position. The lobe 3 is thought to represent the ganglion of the preantennal segment. The head in this species is composed of the acron plus six segments.
