• Abstract　High temperature Creep behaviours of solid solution alloys are often divided into Class I and Class II. In this paper, the characteristics of Class I and Class II revealed by experimental researches and the various techniques proposed to discriminate between these behaviours are summarized first. Then, experimental results on Al-Mg, Fe-Mo and Cu-Al al1oys obtained by our group using the techniques mentioned above are described. In conclusion, recent results concerning the transition of creep behaViours that occurs at a certain stress in an Al-Mg alloy together with discussion on them are briefly mentioned.
