The preservation and resuscitation of the traditional townhouses or old folk dwellings is becoming one stream. In this paper, the focus is especially applied to "Architectural meaning" of "Resuscitation" of "Traditional Townhouses". It is because of thinking that the future directionality of the resuscitation of the townhouses becomes clearer by clarifying the distinction of the traditional townhouses as against the old folk dwellings. In the beginning, this homogeneity and the heterogeneity between the resuscitation of old folk dwellings and the traditional townhouses are considered. Next, a lot of done activities of the resuscitation of the traditional townhouses are analyzed in the pattern. As a result, it is a purpose of the main discourse to clarify an architectural meaning of the resuscitation activities of the traditional townhouses.
