Generally the word "concept" means "what expressed the state of ideal things strategically, and concept for realizing new creation." A concept has to be created based on the steadfast foundation and rational approach. On the other hand, "concept engineering" means the methodology to generate and execute a concept imbued with futuristic insight proven technology and economic feasibility. In this paper, proposal design and proposal technique of concept engineering are outlined based on the activities in Toshiba which started in 1988.
