The problem of quark and lepton generations as well as quark and lepton mass hierarchies is studied in the framework of supersymmetric chiral subquark models. We propose four models, all of which predict three generations of quarks and leptons whose mass spectra show inter-family mass hierarchies. From phenomenological considerations, a viable model is selected.
