In order to ensure the proper calorie intake, a reasonable estimate of energy contents must be made. Commercial noon meals were purchased at the restaurant or convenience shops and the calorie in them were analyzed by using Tanita Calorie Scale TCK-003. A variety of traditional Japanese cooking, Susi, were in generally suitable for noon meal in point of dietary energy as well as ham-burgers. A hard fried Katu with beef etc. were at level of an excess energy for women junior college students. The data obtained in this time provides the useful guideline in calorie nutrition.
