This study was designed to examine the effectiveness of five strategies for coping with test anxiety (Positive Thinking, Relaxation, Preparation, Resignation, and Concentration) identified by Kondo (1997). Results indicated that no one strategy was perceived to be more effective than any other. On the other hand, the scores of test anxiety were significantly and negatively correlated with the effectiveness ratings of Positive Thinking, Relaxation, and Preparation.
