It is necessary to use the renewable energy, such as photovoltaic, wind power, biomass energy, etc., from a viewpoint of CO2 regulation, environmental protection of the Earth. Renewable energy or natural energy, such as photovoltaic and a wind power system, are dependent on the weather, and have the fault that cannot store. On the other hand, the biomass has the outstanding point that it can store as solid fuel. We chose the outside combustion type Stirling engine for which it does not depend on fuel as engine. Moreover, the small firewood stove was chosen as a burner. We proposed the city type small biomass power generation system which combined the Stirling engine and firewood stove. We clarified the concept of a small biomass power generation system, and report the outline of the basic experiment of the city type small biomass power generation system.
