It is necessary to grasp as degradation of the whole structure, when the gravitational concrete structure like check dam and retaining wall is repaired. There are many partial diagnostic method on until now degradation diagnostic method, and the method for diagnosing the whole structure is equal nil. In this study, the physical criterion as a degradation of alkali silica reaction progress concrete structure was proposed. Who becomes an equal result, even if the decision result as a degradation of the structure is investigated, if this physical criterion is used. By doing this physical criterion as following, it was obtained. Simultaneously, the cutting efficiency by the core-drill was measured, when core test-piece of the degradation part was collected from the research object structure. Next, it was assumed distributing the core test-piece strength normally, and the lower-limit mean intensity of 95% confidence interval was obtained. The degradation division of the structure was divided into 4 stages, and the lower limit mean intensity range was determined every each stage.
