In this report, we proposed odor measurement method in facilities for the aged, and reported the result of survey. To clear the odor environment, it is required to measure air temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, odor sensor value, odor intensity, unpleasantness, odor quality, odor sources, odor concentration, odor constituent concentration, and characteristics of bedrooms and occupants in bedrooms of facilities for the aged. Odor concentration of low concentration odor was measured by the concentration method of adsorption at normal temperature. Odor constituent concentration was measured by detector tube and gas chromatography.
