• This paper is described on the performance of low-volume sprayer which is installed in a greenhouse, and sprayed automatically. The uniformity and the completeness of coverage by the spray are desirable as a performance of low-volume sprayer. The distributions of spray particles were investigated by spraying the solutions of agricultural chemicals in the vinyl-greenhouse, and the distribution patterns were expressed with the isogram and the curved surface by the trend surface analysis. The pattern indicated with the isogram was a complicated pattern, and the pattern indicated by the trend surface analysis was a simple pattern. Therefore, the diffusing performance of low-volume sprayer could be evaluated easily with the simple pattern by the trend surface analysis.
