• The Digital Micro-mirror Device (DMD) spatial light modulator is a new digital display technology[1-2]. It provides for a direct digital interface between the baseband video signal processing and the display. This paper describes the impact of a DMD display and the architecture of an all-digital display utilizing a DMD and programmable Scan-line Video Processors(SVP).
