• Autostereoscopic 3D-TV display research recently conducted at NHK is described. Three kinds of experimental 3D-TV display systems have been developed : 12-in. 3D-PDP, 9-in. 3D-EL and 40-in. full-color LCD rear-projection autostereoscopic 3D-TV displays. Good results have been obtained in the reproduction of high quality 3D television images which are very clear and bright, and powerfully three dimensional.
