The new species of ectoparasitic gastropod, Amamibalcis yessoensis n. sp. (Eulimidae) is described from the holothurians Eupentacta fraudatrix and Cucumaria japonica in the Bay of Peter the Great (Sea of Japan). The new species differs from the only known species of the genus, A. kawamurai, by the aperture shape, by whorl number (it has 13-14 whorls, while A. kawamurai has larger shell with only 11 whorls) and by the body whorl height to total shell height ratio.
