The multi-path routing is a promising technique for video streaming over mobile ad hoc networks. This approach will use more than one path to provide better throughput of the transmission and prevents the large jitter which will occur if the path break occurs. In order to improve the quality of the video streaming, the authors would like to use the preemptive technique for multi-path routing. In many cases, the preemptive technique will seamlessly switch the current path to an alternative good path before a break. This approach minimizes the latency and jitter for the video streaming in the congestion transmission.
