In this study, based on the theory that the pressure of organized socialization affects the formation of Career Anchor, this forming process was studied by examining levels of understanding regarding adaptability to job characteristics, taking into consideration individual determinants as well as organizational determinants. As a result of this study, it was discovered that one's increased ability to adapt resulted in greater satisfaction from work. Job characteristics varied with each type of Career Anchor. Both "Security & Stability" and "Autonomy & Independence," types of Career Anchors, were found to be generally adapted to in low levels of job characteristics.
