Regarding environmental processes, acid rain has a deleterious effect on forest growth; consequently, it destroys the balance of natural environment. Similarly, the degrading influence of acid rain on the environment can be seen to affect the durability of concrete structures. This study specifically addresses a method to estimate corrosion and deterioration of concrete structures under a severe acid environment. That estimation is obtained through experimentation using a hardened concrete specimen.
