We have obtained the following results by our measurments of the head loss for junction-parts of rigid vinyl chloride pipes. If we write coefficients of the head loss for junction-parts of pipes f and φ, then we have next terms. (i) For the junction-part of the same diameter, [numerical formula] (See Fig.2) (f=0.269) (ii) For the junction-part of different diameter. [numerical formula] (See Fig.3) (φ=1.56) Where hl and hs are the head loss for junction-parts of the pipe, v is the velocity of water in pipe, and g is the acceleration of gravity. The value of coefficients of the head loss are shown in the table.
