It is generally recognized that this structural system is enhanced ductility and stability. However, the use of steel tube in corrosive environment needs to prove. Using FRP tube, whose properties are lightweight, high strength and durability, may eliminate the problem of steel tube. In this study, axial compressive tests of concrete filled FRP tubes formed by the filament winding method were carried out to know the compressive behavior. And the stress-strain behavior was investigated by 2D nonlinear finite element analysis. From these results, axial compressive strength model was proposed and compared with various models proposed by some researchers.
