• Content Based Instruction (CBI) is a pedagogically attractive option that is becoming increasingly easy to organize given the technological features of a modem CALL room. This article describes what CBI is and why it is becoming more and more needed. The author's experience setting up a theme-based content course is then offered as a case study along with recommendations for successfully organizing CBI.
