"Why is the intergenerational exchange needed?" The answer is nothing other than the existence of gaps between the generations. Where are the gaps? How do we grasp and interpret them? I have tried to suggest how to solve the problems quoting from cases at home and abroad and from ancient and modern cases. Today's composition of family is changing day by day. Therefore, I have tried to figure out the substance projected by the basic human desires of life and freedom.
