The term of yogin (meditator) is often found in not merely Buddhist texts but also philosophical literatures in early India. Because some meditation is essential for indian religions in general. The concept of yogin, however, is various in religions or sects. The purpose of my study is to make clear the philosophical significance of yogin in Madhyamika school, based on the sixth chapter of Madhyamakavatdra-bhasya by Candrakirti, a buddhist master of 7th century.
