The purpose of this paper is to review the Japanese teaching practicum conducted at OUFS over the past five years, 1995-1999. We have sent our student-teachers to various institutions and programs in Japan as well as overseas. There are several such institutions, including Osaka Intemational School, Talent Identification Program in Osaka sponsored by Duke University, and University of Tubingen in Germany. These different sites have provided fruitful practicum in general. What seems difficult, however, is continuation of good practicum. It is our responsibility to seek more sites where we can systematically provide our student-teachers with excellent practicum opportunities.
