The frequency characteristic of the amplifier which measures indicator diagrams of the internal combustion engine is desired to be between about 2C/S and about 6kC/S. The alternating current amplifier has high frequency characteristic and can be repaired very easily in a laboratory because of its simple circuit. On the contrary, it's impossible to measure low frequency phenomena when they are less than about 5C/S, on account of usual highness of lower limit of frequency characteristics, because, standard atmospheric pressure is no more a line for pressure trace when they are less than lower frequency limit. The author measured quantitative low frequency pressure traces by using "multiple auto calibration method" (provisional name), in which zero electric potential points are marked periodically, 15 times, in compression and expansion stroke. And the measured values accorded with the data by D. C. amplifier. Besides the author examined the reality of "multiple auto calibration method".
