This work deals with the analysis of a nonuniform waveguide which consists of tapered rectangular waveguides. Together with the method of separating variable, a numerical technique is used for obtaining solution to the scalar wave equation. Results of the analysis satisfy the law of conservation of energy between the input and the output terminals.
