• The writer mentioned in previous paper the radial cellular fusion and cyst formation on Sprillum japonicum. As the same phenomenon was also obtained about halophilic Spirillum, Spirillum maritimum, I report the life cycle of the bacteria here. All the same culture medium and the staining method as described in previous paper were used. Namely, these spirilla develop in liquid medium in itself, too, and the vital staining method brings good results. The spirilla can be stained while in motion without artifacts by diluted Loffler's methylene blue solution.
