Liquid-Liquid extraction behaviors of silver (I) ion with thiacrown compound 1,4,7,10,13,16-hexathiacyclooctadecane (HTCO) were examind. As a counter anion, 2',4', 5',7'-tetrabromofluorescein disodium salt (eosinY) was used. Silver (I) ion was extracted into 1,2-dichloroehane with HTCO and eosinY. The composition of the extracted species was silver ion (I) : HTCO : eosinY = 2 : 1 : 1.
