A content analysis was performed for data of business schools in the United States published in "The Official Guide to MBA Programs (1988)." Data of three hundred and sixty-one business schools were used for the analysis. The major contents are the analyses for the program of study offered and the characteristics of most recent students in each business school. Seventeen programs of study offered are made up of management, management-related, and management-peripheral. All programs are offered more in the business schools accredited by American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) than in the business schools not accredited by it. The percentage of minority, women, international students, average age, work experience, and the fields of degree were analyzed. The differences of GMAT, GPA, and TOEFL scores were found between in the business schools accredited by AACSB and in the business schools not accredited by it.
