• This paper examines how home helpers deal with the dilemma of the being wageworker and volunteerism. As a result of the investigation to the home helpers, the following points became clear. First, It is an effective means to define herself as a volunteer to operate feelings for them. Second, the self-definition as the volunteer has to do with corporality in the home care labor. It means that it is difficult for the home helper who practices homemaking to construct the identity. Therefore, re-composition of the home helper's professionalization will be needed in the future.
