心の教育についての一考察(2) : 信愛教育

It has been a long time since the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology first proposed that education be focused on cultivating the individual mind. We should like to note that our college Shin-Ai Women's College has for many years prior to their proposal been undertaking just such education. Our educational philosophy and our rationale for such education was reported previously in this journal. Here in this report, the practical aspects are presented-including discussion of the curriculum, syllabus, creation of our in-class atmosphere, as well as our community outreach and volunteer activities. We also discuss areas for further improvement, in particular those areas mentioned by students in our regular surveys of student opinions. In conclusion, through publishing reports in this journal, we are open to discussion and improvement, in order to promote 'Education fully considering the Individual Person'.
