Ultrasonic noise is so common in our daily environments. Aerodynamic turbulence such as from air ejection is the most dominant source of ultrasonic noise which normally associates continuous and broadband of noise in wide frequency range. Rubbing emery clothes, crunching a plastic bag and shaking a slug of keys or a ring of chains also generate large amount of ultrasonic noise. In industrial circumstances boiler's gas burners and very high speed gas turbines associate strong ultrasonic noise. Very near location to machineries ultrasonic noise could present in most cases, but it quickly falls off with increasing frequency and becoming undetectable with increasing distance. To make the ultrasonic leak detector more reliable in practical circumstances such as factories or ship's engine rooms with many machineries running, these basic studies will contribute to further development for its application.
