• This paper proposes a new universal drive system using a real-time interface (RTI). In the universal drive system; the RTI connects real-time simulation software with experimental equipment directly. After numerical analysis, the simulation software takes in an analysis result to the experimental equipment immediately, and an experiment is performed. This method is greatly helpful to examining the early detection and the solution technique of actual problems. Moreover, since the experiment is repeatable, verification of control algorithm can be on-line analyzed using the experimental result, so that research of control algorithm can be concentrated, and high efficiency of the research is expected.
