• Two floristic surveys were carried out in Doi Inthanon and its adjacent regions in February and December in 1998. The specimens collected in February are 563 belonging to 258 species, whereas those in December are about 600 specimens. The surveys were carried out under the project "The Collection Building and Natural History Studies in Asia and Pacific Rim" supported by the National Science Museum, Tokyo.
