The genus Anoplodera has been divided into several subgenera, of which Kanekoa MATSUSHITA et TAMANUKI, 1942,is monotypic, having been based upon A. azumensis MATSUSHITA et TAMANUKI from Mt. Azumasan, northern Honshu, Japan. Recently, the author found the second species of the subgenus in the northern mountains of Taiwan. It will be described in the present paper under the name of A. (K.) lalashana. The author wishes herewith to express his sincere gratitude to Dr. Yoshihiko KUROSAWA and Dr. Shun-Ichi UENO of the National Science Museum (Nat.
