The interaction between ^3He atoms in ^3He-^4He mixtures is greatly influenced by the ^4He atoms surrounding the ^3He atoms. If the effects of the ^4He atoms are properly renormalized into the interaction between the ^3He atoms, then the system can be treated as a Fermi liquid of the ^3He atoms which are interacting with each other via the renormalized interaction, i.e., an effective interaction. In this paper we shall discuss how such an effective interaction can be deduced from various experimental data.
