• A lot of stress corrosion cracks were detected in the weld of PLR piping line and the core internal structures of BWR power plants in recent few years. It has became to recognize the importance of the nondestructive inspection technologies for ensure the integrity and the safety of nuclear power plant. In this paper, the outline and the principle of the techniques that are applied to the in-service inspection, such as UT/VT/ECT, are described.
