To detect a moving object from motion images is one of the fundamental subjects of image processing. To achieve this purpose, it is necessary to separate a motion of moving object and an apparent motion of stationary background. In this study, we presented a detection method of the moving object from two-dimensional motion images. Here we focused attention on two points of the following. (1) A distance from a camera position to the stationary background is immutable. (2) Edges are amount of feature of the stationary background which are relatively easy to extract from the camera images. By using these points, we derived a matching algorithm of the edges between the images at threeview position. Then we separated two kinds of motion of the moving object and background. Finally we detected the moving object from the motion images.
