AISIN AI has developed a Manual transmission (M/T) for compact FWD vehicles, which has being under production since 2000. This M/T has used for Europe compact FWD vehicles, TOYOTA YARIS and others. The performances like high shift comfort and low noise vibration etc have been achieved with low cost. This M/T is our main product, which is still evolving to the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) and the overseas manufactured product in near future. We introduce the instance about the balance between high performance, reliability and cost including development story
