Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Insistute (JNC) has been developing the fast breeder reactor and related nuclear fuel cycle technologies (hereinafter referred to as "FBR cycle technologies") aiming ensuring safety, economic competitiveness, efficient utilization of resources, reduction in environmental impact and enhancement of proliferation resistance. FBR cycle technologies consist of Farst Reacter, Fuel Fabrication and Fuel Reprocessing. Regarding to the reprocessing, the both of an aqueous type and a non-aqueous type reprocessing have been developed as advanced reprocessing technologies. The R&D on these technologies has been done in the Chemical Processing Facility (CPF) which situates at Tokai Works, JNC. The test, results of each process of aqueous process technology such as resolution, crystallization and co extraction are reported in this paper together with progress in pyrochemical technology development.
