概要

• A heat pump water heater system using carbon dioxide refrigerant can supply high temperature water efficiently. Carbon dioxide is the natural working fluid without inflammability, toxicity and environmental impact. Otherwise carbon dioxide has high operating pressure and high density. We chose a swing compressor as the solution for this system. Practically, reduction of the operating sound is important for the system to operate in the nighttime. We developed a new compact heat exchanger and a new fan for suitable operation.
