Stresses in a bulk high-T_c superconductor(HTS)are numerically evaluated when the bulk HTS is fully magnetized by field cooling. The stress distributions for disk and ring models are obtained through numerical analyses with the finite-difference method. Differences between one-and two-dimensional solutions are examined using the Bean model in terms of the maximum tension stress and shear stress.
