Pb(Fe_<1/2>Nb_<1/2>)O_3 Perovskite Ceramics Produced by Simplified Wolframite Route(Electrical Properties of Condensed Matter)

Pb(Fe_<1/2>Nb_<1/2>)O_3 (PFN) perovskite ceramics produced by simplified wolframite route are investigated. Without calcining, the mixture of FeNbO_4 and PbO was pressed and sintered directly to form PFN ceramics. Pyrochlore-free PFN ceramics are produced by simplified wolframite route after sintered at temperatures from 950℃ to 1100℃ for 2h to 6h. Density increases with sintering temperature and reaches a maximum around 8.2g/cm^3 at 1050℃ for PFN ceramics with various soak times.
