The performance of an actively mode-locked phosphate glass LHG8 laser oscillator accompanied with dye Q-switching is presented. It operates with good reproducibility (±2%) at high repetition rates of up to 4 Hz. With 4 mm thick and 1 mm thick etalons it produces 120 ps pulses of 500 μJ energy.
