Narrow band model parameters in carbon dioxide 2.7μm band are obtained experimentally by applying statistical band model. The temperature and wavenumber dependence of S/d indicates that hot bands whose centers differ with one another appear successively as temparature becomes higher. The wavenumber dependence of γ/d at normal temperature agrees with that of the line half-width calculated by using Anderson's theory. The dependence of self-broadening coefficient B upon temperature can also be accounted for by the same calculation. The usual supposition that the dipole-dipole collision and the dipole-quadrupole collision dominate the collision potential between CO_2 and CO_2 and that between N_2 and CO_2, respectively, at emission or absorption, is nearly confirmed.
