Flux reversal behavior of 50% Ni-Fe alloy core is investigated. There is a non-rectangular hysteresis flux component in the core. This kind of flux, which lags in a very short phase at the change of magnetic field, dealt with in this paper. When the core is driven by the step current, this flux component makes a peak on the output voltage, and it makes a peak on the driving current when driven by high frequency sine voltage. The peak value on the output voltage is in proportion to the intensity of the driving field and the peak on the current is in proportion to the frequency squared. This non-rectangular hysteresis flux component makes the queer resonance with the condenser connected on the terminals. From this resonant frequency, the permeability of this flux component is calculated.
