Steric optical circuits, with three dimensional arrangement of waveguides with circular cross-section, have been proposed and realized by a stereographic process with use of a photosensitive monomer. They were fabricated by exposing the liquid photosensitive monomer to UV light and simultaneously immersing solidified waveguides into the liquid monomer. A divider and a waveguide array have been fabricated by this method.
